Modultek has been serving the manufacturing industry for 27 years. The offering includes solutions for product information management and data quality. The latest product is the Product Information Cloud, which provides a comprehensive set of tools for creating, editing, and sharing product information within the company and across its networks.

In the summer of 2016, Modultek entered a new phase when Roima Intelligence Inc. acquired the company and its products. Along came the entire Modultek staff, which now forms Roima’s Product Management unit. Roima offers comprehensive solutions for operations and production control, as well as in-house logistics and machine vision for the manufacturing industry. The company was created by bringing together the best experts in the field, each with decades of experience in manufacturing companies. Roima’s mission is to deliver profitability to its customers, which is also reflected in the company’s name (ROIma, short for ROI machine).

ROIma’s client base includes both domestic SMEs and internationally operating groups. The company’s solutions are used all over the world, with English serving as the main language for communication with clients outside Finland. Lingo has provided translation services for ROIma for approximately three years, including the translation of brochures, websites, tenders, and technical documents. Translations are mainly done in the Finnish–English language pair, but there is occasionally a need for Dutch or German translations as well.

It is essential for us that translations are of such high quality that the client feels they are reading a text written in their own native language, rather than a translated text. This requires the use of idiomatic language and modern, up-to-date vocabulary. We are pleased that Lingo has risen to the challenge. Even under tight deadlines, they’ve never left us in a lurch, always showing great flexibility. In addition to their top-tier expertise, Lingo has a friendly team that has been a pleasure to work with!
