We are a versatile, multilingual communications agency – or, in short, a translation agency.
We translate and review contents, create glossaries, and support the internationalisation of companies. We produce fluent and understandable communication in various languages.
We have been in the translation business since 2005. We changed our name and the form of our company in 2015. Data security, reliability, punctuality, and clear communication are at the core of everything we do. Our team consists of trained industry professionals with extensive experience. We value our people and support their professional growth.
Our client base includes attorneys’ offices, public organisations such as universities and vocational institutes, international industrial companies, Finnish export and import companies, IT companies, advertising and communications agencies, and tourism industry operators.

Miia Virtanen
As the company’s CEO, Miia takes care of the business and its development. On a daily basis, she is involved in numerous projects as a translator, reviser, project manager, and the most senior quality controller. Miia has earned her Master of Arts degree in French language and culture from the University of Turku in 2002. She is also an authorised translator, or sworn translator, from English to Finnish.
Miia’s mission is to help companies and experts operating in the international domain, and she believes that language matters in global success. Her experience in the translation and linguistic world spans over 20 years.
Hanna-Mari Virtanen
Hanna-Mari works as the head translator and reviewer of English to Finnish and Finnish to English translations in Lingo. She is a Master of Arts in English, graduated from the University of Helsinki in 2014. In addition to English Philology, she has also studied Translation and Linguistics.
After travelling and living abroad, an International Baccalaureate, and 17 years of English studies, Hanna-Mari appreciates the status of English as the global language.
Satu Laakkonen
Graduated from the University of Turku as a Master of Arts in English translation and interpreting, Satu offers translation, proofreading, and project assistant services for Lingo Languages. In addition to English and other languages, she has studied Psychology and Comparative Literature among other subjects. She has also studied and lived in the UK.
Satu is passionate about reading and writing so she finds her work very meaningful and something that brings her joy; a text that flows and fills its purpose is an enjoyment for both the customer and the linguist.
